The Wellness Passport turns a doctor's visit into something a child can look forward to. There are eight Rangers, and each one comes with a short family guide about a different part of staying healthy, written in plain language a parent can get through in a few minutes.
When a family takes a guide home, the child gets that Ranger's sticker to add to their passport. Read it together, place the Ranger, and there are seven more to meet. Because the stickers come from reading rather than from anything that happens during the visit itself, every child can fill their passport, whatever their appointment involves.
A child's early years are full of small milestones, and doctor's visits are part of that story whether or not anyone explains them. Volume 1 gives children eight Rangers to meet along the way.
Inside are eight spaces, one for each Ranger. Every sticker arrives with a short guide a parent can read in a few minutes. Over time the passport fills in, and what started as a booklet becomes something a child recognizes and asks to bring along.
